Welcome to my home page. After spending several years in Silicon
Valley working on the development of high-technology software,
I am now back to France actively working on the development of my
new company called ethernix.
In parallel to this, I manage the department of "Génie
Informatique" at the French engineering school ESILV and
still gives lectures in several schools as well as continuing the
development of free software. As you have certainly guessed, I am
a software engineer whose center of interests are the system
micro-architecture, compiler technology and programming language
design. I still continue to focus on the development of the
AFNIX Programming Language
as well as writing documents related to the theory of
languages.

haute-technologie, me voici de retour en France pour me focaliser
sur le démarrage de ma société

l'École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Léonard de Vinci (ESILV) et
continue à donner des conférences en école d'ingénieurs. Comme
vous l'avez certainement deviné, je suis un ingénieur
informaticien qui se concentre sur la

compilateurs, la théorie et la conception de langage de
programmation. Par ailleurs,

The Ethernix company
Ethernix is a french
"limited liability company" (EURL) located in Lorient, France.
The company has been founded in August 2006 by Amaury Darsch and is
actively pursing the deployment of its technology with selected
partners.
Ethernix develops, markets and distributes state-of-the-art
modeling tools development
platforms that address the increasing needs for the deployment of
local or global complex hierarchical models. The development
platform is based on a clever combination of a
hierarchical/holarchical multi-agents system with a multi-threaded
object based engine.
The Ethernix technology is designed to help
the smart developer or system architect. The development platform

analysis and forecasting of complex systems where numerous

AFNIX programming language
AFNIX is a multi-threaded
functional programming language with dynamic symbol bindings that
support the object oriented paradigm. AFNIX features a state of
the art runtime engine that supports both 32 and 64 bits
platforms. AFNIX is distributed with several clients and a rich
set of libraries that are designed to be platform
independent. AFNIX is a powerful engine associated with a rich set
of libraries. The interpreter is written in C++. Its modular
architecture makes the installation and maintenance an easy
task. AFNIX has a rich syntax which make the functional
programming a pleasant activity. AFNIX is ready for use on various
UNIX platforms. A rich documentation is also provided as a guide
and reference material.
